Hey loves,
Today I have 3 of the Wet N Wild Megalast Lipsticks ready for you! Enjoy the swatches and the review and find out if these are anything for you!
I ordered Bare It All, Just Peachy and Cinnamon Spice. It retails for ยฃ2.99, โฌ2.99 and $1.99. That is very cheap but it happens often that the quality sucks and the lipsticks have a chemical smell. These however do not have that! The packaging feels really cheap and plasticy but again, I don’t mind. It has the colour name on the bottom of the tube and is shaped in a balm-like bullet.
Let’s see what Wet N Wild claims with these lipsticks:
“This is basically our Magnum Opus of lipstickโitโs the one thing we absolutely MUST put on when weโve got a cocktail party or black tie event. This 4-hour, longwearing lip color leaves a semi-matte cream finish in one stroke. Glides on easily with rich, velvety color that doesnโt cake, feather, or bleed. Made with hydrating skin-care ingredients: Hyaluronic Microspheres provide extraordinary adhesion to lips, an exclusive polymer complex offers cushion-like feel and texture, and natural marine plant extracts coenzyme Q10 and vitamins A & E help smooth lips.” source
So they claim to be longlasting with a semi-matte cream finish and great pigmentation. Well let’s check out if the claims are true!
My bare lips
Megalast Lipstick: Bare It AllBare it all is a beautiful nude shade. It’s a soft pink with brown undertones and can be worn without a lipliner, like I usually do. The texture is very creamy and smooth and the semi-matte finish leaves a stunning sheen to your lips. It can emphasise your fine lines, but to my surprise it doesn’t dry out my lips! The pigmentation is insane and this is a beautiful nude that doesn’t wash me out at all and might be the perfect nude for a lot of skintones!
Megalast Lipstick: Just PeachyI feel the need to be a 100% honest with my readers, so I’ll be honest when I say that I bought Just Peachy because of the name. Peachy is just a word that really draws me in and I feel peachy sometimes. Just Peachy is a milky/pale peach colour that seems slightly more dry than the other lipsticks. It looks a bit chalky and it isn’t as opaque and creamy like Bare it All. I also feel like the colour looks odd on my skintone, it looks enormously bright and I don’t like it that much. This also emphasises every line on my lips. Maybe it will look a bit better when I’m a bit more tanned, if that ever happens, haha but for now, I feel a bit peachy about this shade.
Megalast Lipstick: Cinnamon SpiceCinnamon Spice (love the name again) is a dark brick-red colour with subtle brown undertones. The formula is back on track again and we’ve moved on from Just Peachy. This colour does require a lip liner, because mistakes are harder to erase! The texture is again smooth and very creamy whilst still being matte. This colour gives me such a vintage vibe, I absolutely adore Cinnamon Spice!
Apart from Just Peachy, I absolutely love the Megalast lipsticks from Wet N Wild in Cinnamon Spice and Bare It All! I do recommend buying these since the quality of the product itself is amazing, especially for the price that you pay! If you want to see more colour I recommend checking out this post by Cass, she has almost all the shades (I think, if not all of them) and swatched them!
I would really like to pick up In The Flesh and Spiked With Rum and so many more, so who knows, there might be more reviews following!
Lots of love and see you next time!
