Today I have a very special review for you!
I recently bought my first ever lip gloss. After reading hundreds of review, I finally decided to purchase one of the Nyx Butter Glosses and I have chosen colour number 7: Tiramisu.

Just like the Soft Matte Lip Creams of NYX, their butter glosses come in a tube but this time with a cap the same colour as the product and not the matte black cap, like the SMLC. It has a doe foot applicator which picks up the right amount of product. The name of the Butter Gloss is written on the bottom of the tube. In this case: 07 Tiramisu.Tiramisu is a beautiful nude colour. It’s dusty pink shade with a hint of a brown undertone. It’s perfect for everyday wear and looks very natural on me.
The butter gloss has a sheer to medium coverage and you can wear it on its own or on top of a matte lipstick/liquid lipstick. The formula is indeed very buttery and smooth. It glides on your lips without a problem and rescues my dry lips every time by sinking into my lips and leaving them moisturised and nourished. The Butter Gloss is not sticky (thank goodness) but it is a little bit tacky, but that is good for the sustainability.

Tiramisu stays on my lips for about 2-3 hours, depending on what I eat or drink, but it can last longer. It also has a sweet vanilla/caramel smell which makes you want to lick your lips. The smell is not too overpowering and doesn’t linger for too long. So it won’t bother sensitive noses, like mine.

Now up to the face swatch: Beautiful, is it not? It is my first lip gloss but definitely not my last!
I will be buying more of the NYX Lip Butter Glosses for sure! I already have my eye on Crème Brulee and Apple Strudel, haha. You can buy their Butter Glosses on their UK website or on Feelunique.
