Everyone is looking for that amazing glowing highlighter and if it doesn’t break the bank, even better!
Today I will be reviewing the w7 Glowcomotion shimmer, eyeshadow and highlighter!
Of course, for the price that you pay, the packaging isn’t that stunning for some people. I quite like it though. It is a simple display of a round box with a mirror on the inside. It’s fairly big, well normal sized but still a handful. You can find the ingredients on the back of the packaging.
W7 says that you can use the product as a shimmer anywhere on your body, as an eyeshadow or (the way I mostly use it) a highlighter. I have talked about the ingredients or rather where to find them, before but I have some amazing news! This shimmer/eyeshadow/highlighter or whatever you would like to call it is not tested on animals making it cruelty-free, splendid!
Glowcomotion is a pale neutral colour but it does tend to lean towards a golden shift. It does not have any chunky glitters in it, which to my preference is amazing, but it does have slight silver particles. However, the glow it gives you is a true sheen. So beautiful!
Let’s get some full face pictures.
The formula is finely milled but a little bit dry. The dryness results in a little kickback when you dip your brush in it. It is pigmented enough though and blends seamlessly into the skin. I can say that Glowcomotion is amazing for people on the paler side of the colour spectrum but I don’t know about people with a darker complexion. I will ask one of my friends with a deeper complexion to try it and let you know!
I have read and heard that Glowcomotion might be a dupe for The Balm’s Mary-Lou Manizer. However, I must mention that from seeing swatches and reading reviews it seems that Mary-Lou is slightly darker in colour and warmer in tone. But if you have Mary-Lou and it didn’t work out because it was too dark or too warm for you, you might want to give w7’s Glowcomotion a shot!
Overall I really like the way this highlighter looks on my skin type and skin tone! I hope you enjoyed this review and do you have any other products you recommend I go and buy?
Lots of love and see you next time!
