I’ve already mentioned that I bought one of the classic Vice lipsticks from Urban Decay in my review of their liquid Vice lipsticks (review here) and today I will be reviewing Sheer Liar!

Even though it’s spring already, my lips are still severely dry. No matter the season, they look dry and chapped. So I thought it might be a good idea to buy a lipstick that’s not matte and doesn’t emphasize my weak lips. I was craving something a bit more moisturising! I came across a store in Belgium that sells Urban Decay and browsed through the massive amount of colours UD has. If I’m not mistaking then there are about 100 Vice lipsticks in different finishes. Needless to say that you have a lot to choose from. After about 15min of browsing and a trillion swatches on my hands/arms, I went with the colour ‘Sheer Liar’.

As I’ve mentioned before, the Vice lipstick and Vice Liquid Lipsticks are really similar in packaging. They both have a combination of metal and gold colours with the logo embossed on the top of the lipstick and with the shade name at the bottom of the lipstick. I really like the box of the lipstick. It’s so pretty that I actually only threw it away after a month.

Sheer Liar has a sheer finish, however, I must admit that I expected a lot less pigmentation due to that label. It’s actually quite pigmented and applies quite opaque on the lips. Sheer Liar is exactly what I needed. It provides hydration to my lips, whilst still adding some colour and feeling lightweight and non-sticky! Sheer Liar feels thin and weightless on the lips but obviously doesn’t last that long. Not that I mind because you can easily reapply this fella and get that healthy sheen on the lips again!

Sheer Liar is described as a medium rosy-brown colour with warm undertones. It’s the perfect everyday lipstick for me and adds something extra to my lips! It’s safe to say that I love this lipstick, haha.

I really love the Urban Decay Vice lipstick in Sheer Liar and will probably be buying more in the future! It has quickly become my favourite lipstick to wear every day no matter the occasion or season! What is your favourite everyday lipstick?
