Monthly/Recent Favourites of August

Hey loves,
I normally don’t post these types of posts because 1. I usually forget to write them and 2. I never try that many products each month. However, today I would like to introduce you to some my favourite makeup/skincare products that I have been using during August!

Processed with VSCO with j6 preset

I have collected some products that fall within the skincare and makeup category. A moisturiser, a primer, foundation, highlighter. You name it. I probably bought it! I do want to mention that I won’t be doing these every month but only every few months. That way I can test products thoroughly and give you a proper review!
Let’s start with some skincare favourites!

Embryolisse Lait-Crรจme Concentrรฉ
Once upon a time, Stephanie Nicole made a video about her skincare/makeup favourites and it featured this little affordable moisturiser and I bought it. Ever since then, I’ve been repurchasing this moisturiser over and over and over again. This product truly was my saviour during this summer. This summer was extremely hot and sweaty in Belgium but not humid whatsoever. The heat made my skin extremely dry but luckily this Lait-Crรจme Concentrรฉ truly saved my face. It sinks into the skin beautifully without feeling tacky or greasy. It hydrates really well and makes the face feel less tight. A ride or die for me!

La Roche-Posay Anthelios Invisible Face Mist
I found this product through an Italian MUA on Instagram that goes by the name of @greta_ag. She’s an amazing mua and I definitely recommend to check her out! She mentioned this on her Insta story and I thought it was such a cool product. It’s basically a sunscreen setting spray for your face with an amazing SPF of 50. I hate the feeling of sunscreen on my face. The smell, the grease, it’s all too much for me. This however is very gentle, not greasy, has a lovely scent and protects my face really well from the sun. I didn’t get sunburn on my face this entire summer when I wore this!

Becca Cosmetics First Light Priming Filter
You might already know that I absolutely love this product if you have read my recent review on it. It’s really nourishing and hydrating for my skin type and gives an amazing subtle but visible and glossy glow to the skin. Do read the review if you want more information (click here).

Revolution Fast Base Stick Foundation
Again, I recently reviewed this lovely product and I also included it in a First Impressions video (click here for the video). I love the finish of this product and the way it looks on the skin. It doesn’t look cakey or heavy on the skin and doesn’t irritate my skin. Amazing!

Nabla Glowy Skin Sticks
I haven’t reviewed this product on my blog yet because this was a limited edition by Nabla Cosmetics and my shades sold out so fast. I finally got my hand on two shades that I really wanted from the Glowy Skin Sticks. The formula of these sticks is amazing. They’re not too oily nor greasy and look amazing on the skin. The sticks blend seamlessly and don’t feel tacky on top of the skin. Maybe Baby is a beautiful muted peachy shade and Beige Mirage is a light golden shade. They also don’t contain any glitter particles, so pretty! Also, they’re currently on sale on Boozyshop!

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer
Y’allll, I bought this in the shade Light and that’s the only negative thing I have to say about this product. This shade is not light at all, so unfortunate because the formula is really amazing and up to par with my favourite concealer by Catrice. It’s not too drying underneath the eyes, has really good coverage and lasts a long time!

Sugarpill Eyeshadows in Buttercupcake & Velocity
I think you all know that I love bright eyeshadows. Sugarpill truly is the talk of the town when it comes to bright eyeshadows and I think I totally agree. I did review these eyeshadows, so you can find swatches and more information right here!

Fenty Beauty Flyliner
Eyeliner. I still kind of suck in at doing it. However, the Fenty Flyliner made it a lot easier to practise, haha. The pigmentation of the Flyliner is amazing and really heavily saturated. It’s also extremely black. Just read the review and let it persuade you ๐Ÿ˜‰

Ofra Cosmetics Long Lasting Liquid Lipsticks in Hypno & Charmed
Favourite liquid lipstick formula of all time? The Ofra liquid Lipsticks. My favourite colours? Definitely Hypno and Charmed. Charmed is a beautiful nude whilst Hypno is a deep burgundy/berry red which is perfect for autumn! Non-drying, great pigmentation and amazing wearability. Definitely recommend!
