Hey guys,
I don’t know how many of you have heard from Natasha Denona. I recently saw this little palette in the ‘nouveau’ section from Sephora.fr and was immediately drawn to it. Here’s the review of my first Natasha Denona product!
Natasha Denona. Why are you eyeshadow palettes over a hundred euros? I cannot justify buying them. No matter how stunning they look. However, I have always wanted to try her brand. Her products always look really aesthetically pleasing and I’m always so impressed when I see swatches. I had seen the Bloom palette on Trendmood and really fell in love. A few weeks ago I saw that Sephora.fr had a -25% discount on almost everything and I decided to take the jump and buy some of the pricier products I had been wanting for quite some time. This palette being one of them.
The packaging is really luxurious. It feels heavy and sturdy. The material of the palette is metallic and very reflective. I really enjoy the peachy pink colour of the palette and I love the fact that it has a mirror. I appreciate that the two cream products are covered by a plastic lid. This prevents the cream and powder blushes to mesh together. It’s a nice little detail. I will be describing the formula of each shade individually.
Glow Cream Base (Shade 1)
This shade is probably my favourite one. It’s a beautiful soft pink with a subtle peach undertone. The pigmentation is quite sheer but very easy to build up. You will never over-do this product and apply too much because of the sheerness. It also has a soft glow without being shimmery or glittery. It looks very natural on the skin and doesn’t emphasise any texture.
Cream Blush (Shade 2)
This shade is very rich in colour. It’s probably the most pigmentated and obviously the deepest shade in the palette. Personally, I wouldn’t use this on my skin because it doesn’t suit my skin tone. However, this makes a beautiful lip shade or an editorial blush. The consistency is a little bit less creamy than the other cream blush but still blends out really nicely.
Glow Extreme (Shade 3)
This is a beautiful peachy pink highlighter with a golden undertone. The powder feels creamy to the touch and is very pigmented when you want it to be. You can either use this as a blush or a highlighter, depending on the brush that you use. It’s like a blush topper or a blinding highlighter. Very pretty.
Duo Glow (Shade 4)
This is another powder formula and is a beautiful orange peach shade with a golden reflect. It’s absolutely stunning and can be applied very softly or quite heavily pigmented. You can go both ways. I prefer to apply it softly and add a nice sheer layer of peach on top of the cheeks. The reflection is shimmery but not glittery and gives a beautiful natural glow. This is another favourite of the palette.
SWATCHES
I don’t think I could’ve ever imagined being so obsessed with a blush palette but this one stole my heart. You really don’t want to know the state of this palette after using it thoroughly. I love all of the shade and I get a lot of use out of three shades or the palette. I also think this palette is quite versatile and such good quality. I really recommend this palette if you have been wanting to try Natasha Denona and are a glowy blush lover!
This palette is available on Sephora, Sephora.fr, Cult Beauty and Nathashadenona.com
That’s it for today. What do you think of this palette?
