Favourite Drugstore Makeup Products

Hey loves,
For today’s Blogtober post I want to share with you some of my favourite drugstore makeup items. The drugstore has some really fabulous makeup products and some of them are holy grail status for me. Here we go!

I just wanted to mention that different brands can be found in the drugstore around the world. That’s why I’ve taken into account some brands that can be found in the drugstore in America but not in Europe and vice versa. Just wanted to be as inclusive as possible!

Primer: Revolution Pro Hydrate & Prime Primer
I really like this primer. It hydrates the skin and gives it a bit of a tacky finish. It’s really lovely and works well with any foundation I have used so far!

Foundation: Revolution Pro Foundation Drops
This has been my favourite foundation lately and I have been wearing it every single day. It’s so gorgeous and very similar to my Maybelline Fit Me. It gives the skin a sheer layer of foundation with a dewy finish and looks very natural on the skin. This is such a beautiful foundation for dry skin!

Concealer: Catrice Liquid Camouflage Concealer
This will not come as a surprise to most of you. I absolutely love this concealer. It’s beautiful and so natural on the skin. Definitely my absolute favourite concealer from the drugstore and in general!

Powder: none
I have to be honest. I used to really like the Essence Compact Fixing Powder. However, since I have found the Hourglass Veil Translucent, no powder has compared. It’s so finely milled and I really see the difference whenever I use another powder. So, unfortunately, I don’t have a favourite powder from the drugstore.

Bronzer: Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer
Despite the colour being a bit too orange for my liking, this is a beautiful bronzer. The smell is so tropical and the formula is stunning. It blends out so well on the skin and gives a beautiful bronzed look. I think I’m close to panning it!

Blush: Essence Peach Me Up
Dude, this blush is a go-to for me when I want to wear blush. This is such a beautiful shade. It has the right amount of peach and a tinge of orange to look so breathtakingly beautiful on the skin. It’s a matte formula but still blends really beautifully.

Highlighter: Milani Strobelight in Afterglow
I wasn’t very fond of this shade at first but I did love the formula. I have been wearing it a bit more lately and I fell in love. It’s such a gorgeous formula and looks really blinding or natural on the skin, depending on how much you apply.

Eyeshadow Palette: Makeup Revolution Reloaded Velvet Rose
This palette is really gorgeous. It’s totally a dupe for Soft Glam by Anastasia Beverly Hills and performs almost identical. I really like the formula and the shimmer in this palette and I really recommend it if you don’t want to spend the money on Soft Glam!

Eyeshadow: Essence Melted Chrome in Ironic
Girl, this is such a stunning shade. The texture reminds me of Colourpop because it’s slightly cushiony and very creamy. The shade is absolutely beautiful and very reflective!

Liquid Eyeshadow: Barry M Holographic Eye Toppers
These are so beautiful. They’re eye toppers so they’re not fully opaque but their reflection is insane. It’s very high-shine and multidimensional. I love using these!

Mascara: Essence Lash Princess (Green)
I love this mascara. The wand is pretty standard but works well with my lashes. I have tried the orange and purple sister but I like the green one the most. It’s not clumpy and gives beautiful volume. It’s also very affordable!

Lipstick: none
I used to exclusively buy lip products from the drugstore but most of them have already expired and I haven’t been looking to buy new lip products as I have already collected so much of them over the years. That’s why I have no favourite lipstick to share.

Lip Liner: Catrice Long Lasting Lip Pencil in Hey Macademia Ahey
This is my favourite lip liner. It’s creamy but precise. It allows me to give my lips some definition, overlining or colour without it looking unnatural. I use this daily with a lip balm on top and I love it very much!

Setting Spray: Catrice Dewy Glow Fixing Spray
I have talked about this over and over again. This is such a good mist. It sets the makeup but leaves a dewy finish without shimmer particles all over the face. It really makes powders seem less powdery and etcetera. I have heard that they will discontinue this so I have bought 5 back-ups. lol.

That’s it for today’s Blogtober post. These are my favourite products from the drugstore. Some I use daily and others I really love. What are some of your favourite products from the drugstore?
Lots of love and see you tomorrow!

  1. I completely agree with you on the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer – it is my favorite of all the bronzers Iโ€™ve ever tried, both affordable and high end! The Milani Matte Radiance Bronzer is a favorite as well ๐Ÿ’œ

    1. It’s so blendable, truly unreal! I haven’t tried the Milani one yet. Definitely would love to in the future! xx

  2. I managed to find Essence Melted Chrome in shade Ironic before it sold out, such a stunning, super reflective shade. Melted Chrome formula is so amazing, I don’t understand why they had to discontinue it, I hope they’ll have something similar soon. I got one Catrice setting spray from limited edition, I’m not sure is it dewy setting spray, but I really like it so far. Whenever I set my makeup with it people compliment it, so I’m sure it’s because of setting spray haha. xx

    1. Essence is always weird with picking the products they want to discontinue. It’s really annoying haha! And the setting sprays by Catrice are all very good. They make the skin look so beautiful! xx
