Nudestix Nudies Matte Salty Siren

Hey loves!
So it’s been a while since I’ve written a review but I’m back and hopefully better than ever! In today’s post I want to talk about a blush that has been in my collection for some time. Let’s talk about the Nudestix Cream Blushes!

What’s the Nudies Matte by Nudestix?

The Nudestix Matte All Over Blush Color is a cream blush in stick form. According to the Nudestix website this blush is a true Nudestix staple which will help you achieve a natural-looking flush that you can rock year-round. You get seven grams of product and the blush retails for $32 (about โ‚ฌ30 and ยฃ28).

I had already owned the Nudies Matte in Bondi Bae which is a bronzer colour and I just love that one a lot. It’s a nice matte cream bronzer which is opaque but still looks natural. So I was really excited to try this one!
Like I said, I have had this shade in my collection for a while, haha.

The formula is vegan and cruelty-free. But also gluten-free and fragrance-free. The fragrance-free aspect is definitely a bonus for me as I’ve been trying to steer away from fragrances in my products. My skin is just a bit too sensitive for it.

There are six shades available of the blush in the Nudies Matte range but there are other shades for bronzing and highlighting in the same range. Plus, they have a different formula, called Nudies Bloom, which is a dewy version of the Nudies Matte and there are another four blush shades available in that formula.

Formula

The formula is very similar to the Bondi Bae bronzer. It has the same matte feel but turns creamy when applied to the skin or the back of the hand. My favourite way of applying this is with a tool from the stick to the skin or apply some on the back of the hand and then apply it to the face. Another great way of applying this is with the fingers. I feel like these methods are the best for a good and non-muddy application. And it’s much harder to add too much product on you face.

Salty Siren is a beautiful rosy coral. It has more of a pink tint to it than I expected. I was expecting it to be more coral/peachy but it’s quite pink on me. Nevertheless, I love this blush a lot. It blends into the skin beautifully and provides a flush of colour to the cheeks. Not too pigmented but still intense if you want it to be. I actually like this blush more than the bronzer. The bronzer is quite opaque but the blush has a translucency to it which makes it look quite natural on the skin. It’s not like you’re putting a layer of paint on the skin but a thin veil of flush. The opaqueness works for the bronzer but it probably wouldn’t have for the blush. So I really like the opacity.

Swatches

That’s it for today’s post. I really hope you enjoyed this review and didn’t mind the little hiatus from me, haha. I really like this blush and need to use it a bit more. The Nudestix Nudies Matte in Salty Siren is available here.

Lots of love and see you next time!
