Today’s I want to talk about a powder highlighter.. yes a powder highlighter. My arch nemesis. But this one from Nabla might be all the rage. Let’s talk about it!
What’s Skin Glazing by Nabla?
Nabla is an Italian-owned brand that recently expanded to the US with Ulta. I’ve been using their products since 2017 and I think my love started because of their individual blushes, bronzers and their first eyeshadow palette Dreamy (review here).
It’s been really cool to see Nabla grow as a brand and see what they come out with every single season. I’m a bit bored by their eyeshadow palettes but they hooked me right back in with the Skin Glazing & Bronzing line. I already did a full video on the collection and if you want to see it, click here.
I still wanted to do a dedicated blog posts because I have a big love for these highlighters, but more on this later.
The Skin Glazing in Ozone are described as luminous powders with zero thickness and provide a mirrored effect and unexpected brilliance. I’ll be honest, I have no idea what I just read, well kind off.
It’s a wet & dry formula with buildable coverage. Suitable for all skin types and it’s vegan and cruelty-free! It retails for $24 (€22 or about £25).
Formula
I’ll say it here and I’ll be quick about it. This is my favourite powder highlighter of all time. It looks like a glossy cream highlighter but it’s powder. It doesn’t emphasise any of my skin’s texture. I think it’s because it’s not a powdery formula. When you put your brush in the highlighter, you don’t get any kick up or fall out. The formula isn’t heavy or texturizing. I don’t know how to describe the formula but it’s amazing. Everything those other highlighters do, this won’t do that. Glossy goodness on the cheeks and no glitter! Just a beautiful natural glow.
I purchased the shade Ozone. There are four highlighters shades available and Ozone is the lightest in the range. The colour is a beautiful neutral ivory. The undertone is yellow but not too golden or straight up white. It doesn’t leave a cast but blends in quite nicely on my skin. Just a beautiful neutral colour for my complexion.

That’s it for today’s review. I’m absolutely in love with this highlighter. Such a beautiful formula and it is the BEST powder highlighter ever. I don’t reach for my other ones since having this one. The Nabla Skin Glazing Highlighters are available here.
